Thomas Travers - Special Events Manager

Thomas was born in Hayward, California. He grew up in Vallejo and Napa and attended public schools in both cities. He began his career at Chardonnay in 1991 at the age of 17 picking range balls and washing golf carts as a second job. He admits he only took the position so he may get free-range balls to practice and also play golf. After falling in love with Chardonnay’s family like atmosphere he decided to make Chardonnay his home away from home. He passed his Player Ability Test to get his PGA certification as an Assistant Golf Professional and enjoyed his golf career for ten years before meeting his next love, the Food and Beverage business.

With his varied experience in golf club operations on both the golf side and food and beverage side of the business, Thomas has returned to Chardonnay as our Special Events Manager. "I feel as though I have grown up at Chardonnay Golf Club. I love interacting with the members, customers and staff and feel like I'm at home when I'm here."

Thomas now resides in Dixon with his beautiful wife Tina, their son Anthony and dog Max.
