Rob Charland - PGA Associate Golf Pro/Golf Shop Manager

Rob Charland joined the team at Chardonnay golf Club in June of 2008. Rob has been working in the golf industry for over 12 years. Career highlights include El Rio Golf Club (Mohave Valley, ZA), Corte Bella Golf Club (Sun City West, AZ), and Legend Trail Golf Club (Scottsdale, AZ).

In Rob's current role, he provides customer service, day-to-day golf operations supervision, and merchandise purchasing, receiving and inventory management. In addition, Rob provides group and individual golf instruction. For those students wanting a detailed analysis of their swing, he offers computerized video instruction with the V1 Coaching System. The teaching philosophy he employs with each student is to provide simple explanations adn techniques to solve golf questions. Also, Rob wants to help the student enjoy the game of golf and understand fundamentals.

A graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, Rob is a Class A PGA Golf Professional. Rob's education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and Professional Golf Management from Ferris State and certification in both Golf Operations and General Management for the PGA.

Rob presently resides in Napa. His parents and brother live in Tucson, Arizona, which is Rob's hometown.
