Water Conservation & Quality

Water quality is largely straightforward in concept. The golf course is watered with 100% tertiary treated reclaimed water. Reclaimed irrigation water is managed in such a manner not to overspray the creeks, watershed or habitat areas. We have also deemed the areas surrounding these critical areas as "no spray" zones, meaning that in the event of a chemical or fertilizer application, nothing will be applied in the "no spray" zone which prevents run-off and water contamination.

Water conservation is relatively straightforward as well. The golf course is watered at night, when evapotranspiration rates are most conducive to efficient irrigation and minimizing loss due to evaporation.
