IPM-CHAMP Integrated Pest Management-Chemical Application Management (IPM-CHAMP) is the most technically advanced portion of the Environmental Management Program at the Chardonnay Golf Club. Working with the USGA Green Section, and the GCSAA we have assembled a plan that determines the critical thresholds for disease and pest infestation, as well as the benign chemicals that are to be used in response. The focus of the plan however is not the chemical treatments, but rather the detailed monitoring and professional agronomic care that prevents the turf from becoming infested or diseased. |
